Welcome to the Paper Towel Holder Store!

There's nothing that accents a kitchen better than a stylish Paper Towel Holder. We all need these functional items, but they can also add to the beauty of your kitchen while keeping your paper towels handy. We have stand-up, under cabinet, very basic, and unique holders.

All items are purchased and shipped through the secure Amazon marketplace in order to provide the best prices available. A Paper Towel Holder can be made from many different materials. Traditionally made from plastic, oak or another kind of wood, now there are chrome, wrought iron, marble, stainless steel, and others. Generally the price will determine the quality of a paper towel holder, but even an inexpensive wood model can look great if you have a natural wood themed kitchen decor. A simple plastic model can work perfectly for your garage or work space. If you don't have room under your cabinets to attach a holder, the stand-up varieties might be perfect for you. If you use your paper towels often and want maximum reliability, you might consider choosing a model that has a sturdy bar that goes through the middle, instead of the ones that only pop in a few inches. They can sometimes lose the roll if you are used to pulling harder. No matter what type you are looking for, we hope you enjoy it for years to come!

Perfect Tear Chrome Paper Towel Holder, Horizontal Wall-Mounted

By Gene (Phoenix, AZ) - My existing paper towel holder was an old plastic holder and the newer larger towel rolls did not fit well and sometimes fell off the holder. The holder is above a utility sink and when the paper towels slipped off the holder, they would usually get wet and ruined. This holder works as advertised. The holder mounted solidly, the spool holds the towels firmly, and ratchet drive makes tearing off new towels easy.

By D. Meers "虎" - Pros: 1. Classy streamed look 2. Works as advertised Cons: 1. Loud clacking noise 2. The wall mounting is level, but the part that sticks out to hold the paper towels sag to an uneven level when a new roll is mounted 3. A large roll doesn't leave enough tension when pulling a sheet, so one handed operation isn't possible Despite the cons, overall I am actually very pleased with the holder. It keeps the roll out of the way, easily accessible, and looks good. For the price, highly recommended.

By Kathleen M. Straub (Chandler, Az USA) - Previous reviewers of this paper towel holder weren't kidding! This is, by far, the best paper towel holder I've ever used. I mounted it on the inside of my cabinet door under my kitchen sink, and it truly is a "perfect tear." It's stable, and it's not flimsy like those common plastic ones. The screws/molley bolts that came with it, though, were a little long so we used shorter ones so they wouldn't protrude to the other side of the cabinet door.

By P. Rodriguez "Mindy & Paul" (San Marcos Texas) - Ordered on September 6th and just received today (9/29/09). Looks nice, works great. Heavy duty chrome, not cheapo metal. Would recommend!

By D. M. Toney (Columbus) - WORKS GREAT! Well worth the cost. I have it in my "man-cave" .. now the wife wants one for her kitchen! :)

By Louan B. Rathke (Fort Walton Beach, FL) - I bought this to replace an "easy tear" towel holder. This one is great! I can pull off just one paper toewl at a time without the entire roll spinning off. The rachet mechanism works very well! It was easy to install and does not take up a lot of space.

By T. Ochinero (Los Angeles) - Hard to get paper towel onto and off the center pole. Paper towel still keeps rolling when you tear (ratcheting mechanism isn't strong enough to stop the roll while you tear) BUT if it were, it would make it difficult to use. It's a balancing game, you need some resistance but you can't have too much. In this case, it's a tad too weak but who cares. Compared to diepsnsers without any ratcheting brake, this is pretty sweet. For the price, it's not too bad!

By Hapa Chick (San Francisco, CA) - I personally recommend this paper towel dispenser. I purchased it only a few weeks ago, but I already swear by it. I purchased it after my fianceé and I moved in to a rental house that has virtually no counter space. I wanted a dispenser that would hold any size paper towel roll I would throw at it (I like buying the double-roll paper towels so I don't have to change the roll too often), as well as one where I would be able to pull off one paper towel/sheet at a time with one hand (as I often find my other hand doing something else when I need a paper towel). This product delivers on both of my needs. The only problem I have found with it thus far is that it does make a somewhat loud ratcheting noise, although the noise is not so bad that the pros don't outweigh the lone con. The dispenser has a simple design (it's by no means flashy and/or elegant, but I wasn't looking for anything of that nature - merely something functional) and at its price point, this product is well worth buying, in my opinion.

By Stanley Kasperski (Round Rock, Texas USA) - $13 is a lot of money for something as simple as a paper towel holder. After all, one can buy several of the cheap plastic kind with folding arms. We lived with one of those horrible things for way too long, with it's difficult to load design. Then, while pulling a little too hard, the whole towel would fall into food being prepared below. All that foolishness is gone with the Perfect Tear design. The ratchet detent force is a shade too light for me to ensure repeatable, one handed tear offs, but that's a small irritant. If it's resistance could be made adjustable, that would make it truly "perfect".

By J. Sousa (Boston, MA) - I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this and was relunctant to get it but I did anyway. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it works great! Some people said that it made a lot of noise, but really people, it makes noise for one second as you try to rip off a paper towel. Really no big deal - I wouldn't call it noise. And it spins with just the right amount of pressure - not too hard to spin and not too easy where the whole paper towel roll unravels. I've had paper towel holders before that when you tried to spin it it would rip the paper towel. This one is just right. I would definitely recommend it! Hopefully it lasts me a long time.

By Beth (somewhere in Pennsylvania) - I really like it:) It just came today and I've shown it off to my sister- and father-in-law and it works just like it's supposed to. I'm ordering 2 more for them. My mother-in-law has the same sort of thing but it just sits on a counter. I think that she spent a lot more on it too:) Anyways, if there was ever a person who hated things on her counter, it's her. You also have to hold her's down while you tear off the towel. I have a 5 yr old, a 2 yr old (who's potty training) and another due in May. anything that only requires the use of only one hand is pretty much a Godsend (since God didn't think it necessary to add an additional arm with each pregnancy - it really would have been helpful since we do end up loosing brain cells!). My husband is out of town and I hung it up myself, but I needed shorter screws to hang it under my cabinet - it really should come with them (that's the only reason I only gave 4 stars). I also like how quickly i can take a roll off and put one back on. That's always nice too. Base is sturdy and it rolls easily enough that I can pick how many towels I need before I tear them off.

By zephyr "zephy" (VA) - Glad I ordered 2 of these for home use. Quality is great--heavy duty, but yet sleek looking. I was a little hesitant after reading review that said it did not work well. But I found that the ratcheting mechanism works very well IF you load the paper towel roll so the towels tear off from the TOP of the roll (i.e., insert roll so that the loose towel end comes over the TOP of the roll and hangs down in front, instead of hanging down on the back wall side of the holder). When you mount the paper towel this way, you can get a perfect 1 towel tear-off with one hand. Also recommend you buy wall toggle bolts to mount it instead of the screws that come with the package--the toggle bolt will hold tighter in drywall than the friction screws included in the package. Added note: the ratcheting mechanism is noisy, so you won't want to use it where quiet is important; but it works great.

Oxo 1066736 Good Grips SimplyTear Brushed Stainless-Steel Standing Paper-Towel Holder

By G. Klonowski (IL USA) - Great looking, easily wipes clean. It has a spring in the center that prevents the roll from turning beyond what you are pulling, the outside arm hangs on making it easy to pull off just one sheet, and it is sufficiently heavy to allow you to effortlessly get one sheet using just one hand. No more rolls of paper towels that are dripped upon on top, or wet with finger prints on the sides. The beauty of how this towel holder works has not gone unnoticed by any guest using my bathroom.

By Camp Cook (Las Vegas, NV) - Makes getting a paper towel easy and efficient and you can do it one handed which is especially useful when you are holding something and need a towel. Well made and looks good on the counter top.

By Howard (Westchester County, NY) - Ever since the paper towel manufacturers have been selling mega-rolls,our old towel dispenser has been standing idle. I looked at a number of new holders and this one seemed to be the best of the lot. Clearly I made a good choice because my wife is delighted with the product. I was enchanted by the Maria Berntsen towel holder but found to my dismay that it does not fit American size towels.

By Pat (CT, Usa) - We have had one for two years in our weekend cabin...love it so much we are now getting one for home! Been searching all over for this particular one in local stores with no luck. Delighted to find it here. Sturdy, looks good, easy to use and clean. A winner!

By Harry Keaton "Buddy in Texas" (Amarillo, Texas) - I ordered two paper towel holders and am very pleased with my purchase. One for the kitchen and the other for my art studio. I use paper towels to clean my oil painting brushes. I usually have a paint brush in one hand and need to be able to control the number of paper towels I need, using the other hand. The paper towel holders have a nice weight and the tension arm allows the user one handed control.

By Cheryl D. Vogel (Hamilton, IL) - I purchased this product, and I LOVE it. It works just as the manufacturer said it would. You can pull a paper towel off with one hand. Very handy when you are working in the kitchen and have your hands full. It looks very nice on the counter top. I would recommend this product to everyone.

By Janis "Jan" (Voorheesville, NY USA) - This paper towel holder is excellent. It looks great, works well and can be put out of sight for a picture perfect kitchen, mudroom or bathroom appearance. I bought three. Super.

Prodyne M-913 Stainless Steel Under Cabinet Paper Towel Holder

By S. Jones (Fairfield, OH United States) - This is a truly good papertowl holder. I was originally intending to get one that had a bar which went through the entire tube at the center, since I was looking for something that remained stabled even when there were only a couple sheets left on the papetowl tube. My old holder couldn't hold the tube while allowing me to rip off one of the last remaining sheets with one hand. And if the papertowls hadn't been rolled on the tube perfectly, the towls would frequently fall off if I tried to rip off a sheet with one hand. This holder is every bit as good as the bar type holder, without the hassle of most bar type holders. It's very stable and easy to load with a new roll. And the stainless steel goes with most any kitchen color scheme.

By Kevin D. Wilson "Nanette Wilson" (Washington DC) - I have had this product for 4 years now and absolutely love it. It is chic and goes with my black and stainless steel appliances. I have not experience any problems with the whole roll coming off if the dispenser. I would recommend trying it for yourself.

By doglover "kdog" (california) - i just purchased this paper two holder today. like the last reviewer said, you can only mount this horizontally, not vertically which is a little disappointing. my two main reason for returning this are the large rolls don't fit and rub on the back of the holder and the balls that hold the rolls on are so big that unless the tube is perfectly round it won't spin. i'll look for something that has a bar that goes through the roll instead of round ends that hold it on.

By Susan K. White "suezstuff" (Denver) - The towel roll is held on by 2 balls that fit into the paper towel roll. Unfortunately, over time the slots of the balls that meet the metal arms widen and easily fall off. Chasing the ball from under the fridge has me shopping for a new holder. I gave it 2 stars because it is stylish and easy to install but too frustrating to use - unless you can figure out how to permanently attach the balls to the metal arms.

By Jhea A. McCloskey "Jung-Irish" (Santa Cruz, CA) - Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) When I purchased this item, I planned on hiding it on the inside of my kitchen cabinet door, but when I saw how stylish and modern it was, I changed my mind and mounted it just as it is seen in the Amazon.com advertisement photo- in full view. It's beautiful, and very easy to use. Great gift idea too.

By Lori930 - I bought this paper towel holder because I wanted an under cabinet model with a brushed stainless finish to go with our kitchen remodel. The big problem: when you tear off a paper towel, the whole roll comes off of the holder more times than not! Very annoying. We have only had it for about three months - my husband is so frustrated with it that he asked me to find a different one, and specifically asked that I post a review here so that others will not waste their time and money.

By Andi Vaclavicek "andi_dave" (Panama City, FL USA) - I purchased this paper towel rack because it was the only one I found that specifically said "under cabinet". It is in fact a wall mount. I did still attach to the underside of my cabinet by using some double sided adhevise that I already had around the house, but it did not come with hardware that would have enalbled me to attach it to a cabinet. It's also not the nicest paper towel rack, and I would have bought a different wall mounted one and used the same method of attaching it had I known before hand. But, it does serve it purpose, and it wasn't overly expensive. NOTE: You can only use this paper towel rack horizontally, not vertically.

Rubbermaid #2364-RD-WHT Spring Paper Towel Holder

By Barryace (Hillsboro, WI USA) - This Rubbermaid paper towel holder is the last one you'll ever need to buy. After frustrating years of having the entire towel roll come flying out of its holder when you have only one hand free to pull, we now have a fully functional holder that does the job it was designed to do. No more ruined rolls because they fell in a sink full of water, no more wasted sheets because it rolled across a dirty garage floor! We bought six additional holders for ourselves after the first one worked out so well and plan to buy more to give our children and friends next holiday season. By the way, it hangs perfectly on the under side of a cupboard or shelf...you just have turn it around so the flat side of the spring-loaded hook faces the opposite way you will pull. A couple of negative reviews for this holder just had it installed the wrong way around so that they were releasing the hook when they pulled. This is a great item!

By graydog (Oklahoma, USA) - This "Paper Towel Holder" (L3-2364-P1-WHT) may work as intended if wall mounted, but NOT mounted under a cabinet. I bought one at a local store and installed it underneath a cabinet as instructed. The towels (Bounty) kept falling off onto the countertop. I finally took it down and replaced it with another brand. They should rename their product "Paper Towel Dropper"." It IS easy to put in a new roll, but when you touch it to get one towel off, the whole roll falls off. It's a badly designed product. I rated this (1) star because (0) star was not an option.

By CFH "chillnhill" (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA) - The Rubbermaid Paper Towel Holder is nothing short of wonderful! It's hard to get excited about something as seemingly mundane as a paper towel holder, but we use a lot of paper towels every day. The spring loaded grips are what makes this model work so much better than other designs. Changing a roll of paper towels can be done one-handed and the grips extend deeply into the tube so the roll doesn't pop off when ripping off a paper towel sheet. The spring loaded grips can be adjusted to accommodate wall mounting or under the counter hanging, just check that the flat side is taking the weight of the roll. We liked the first one we bought for our kitchen so much that we went to the expense and trouble to replaced three of the old paper towel holders in our shop with this model. Highly Recommended!

By T. Olszewski (Kenton,OH) - This product is sturdy. The towels can be changed in a flash. I use it in my professional kitchen because the towels can be changed by sliding the old out and the new in with one hand.

By Dr. Lisa P. Turner "Lisa" (Boynton Beach, Florida USA) - This Rubbermaid paper towel holder is excellent. My husband hated changing the paper towels in the old racks we had until we got these - they are fun to use and so simple you will look forward to using it every day and especially changing a roll! Simply the best holder out there.
